November 11, 2025 Joining Trying Together board boosts courage for fundraising When I joined the Board of Trying Together, I was hesitant to ask for donations. But reflecting on my “why” for serving and Trying Together’s mission to advocate for quality care and education for young children gave me the courage to reach out. I realized that not asking guaranteed a ‘no,’ but by asking, I could indeed get ‘yes’ responses.
